after reading the posts here (mainly to see if anyone has got the faders to work without jumping) I read about the pads problem. I hadn't really tested them yet so loaded up some drums and ehy presto - 3 dud pads. Aaarrrghh!!

Does anyone have a Sl with the pads wired correctly or is it a common ...

I've used my Indigo card with Live for over 40 gigs now with no problems whatsoever. It's been rock solid for me so far every time. Touch wood!

Took a trip to my local dealer who had a SL on show. 10 minutes of fiddling and I was heading home with one. Looks like it will do the job for me big time!

Has anyone tried using a Resolume ReACT midi controller with Ableton Live?

Just a quickie. No laughing if I'm missing something obvious!

How do you use DirectX plugins (effects not instruments) inside Ableton Live? All of my VST fx etc show up in my plug ins list but none of the DirectX fx show up.

Any ideas?

I've heard about this a few times here on the forum while looking through the posts on midi controllers. I downloaded the manual and stuff for a wee read and to check it out. Turns out all the sliders transmit midi and most of the buttons do as well. It's well spaced out in a 4U rack box ...
