I hope Ableton does something so that when you change a bank, live will send a program message so that we don't have to hit the play button on the clip.

Yes, it worked thank you so much and I hope this answers questions for others that were our are looking for this answer. Is Ableton going to make a update to have a program change with out having to hit play on the clip button?

Yeah, I tried that maybe I am not doing something right. When I get home I will try that again to see if it works. Do I just hit the play button on the channel or the master play button. I have tried the clip button play and nothing happen.

WOW, that sucks because that would be nice for a lot of people including me that have keyboards and don't like to have to save in two places. I sent a e-mail to Abelton I will post what they tell me and I hope they tell me what I want to hear.

midi
motif usb-1 In
Motif usb-1 out

I don't have anything else selected and I can send/recv. midi.

Hey, nslhrn how did you set up your motif? I am using USB and I hope you could give me a hand on this? I do know the +1 for midi but how does one change the the bank sounds. I notice someone said that you have to send a program change and how does one do this.

Ask your self two question; One Do I really need it and two am I going to buy the next best thing as soon as it comes out.

We all have to learn to wait and get want we want not what will get us by, learn from my mistakes and just save your money for what you need.

I want to change Motif sounds with in Live 7. So that I don't have to save my sound banks in Motif, so when I start up live 7 and select my project Live 7 will recall all of my bank settings.

know with MPCs you have to make sure your midi is set up, mpc I had to go into the sync area and turn on what I wanted to use. Meaning Midi IN (A) or (B) and Midi OUT (A) or (B). Hit me up on IM: lproduction 1
