When making DJ sets in live which I then want to put on CD, I mix the set in live and then split it up in to tracks using "get it on CD" from Steinberg, this lets you go through the mix putting in track markers wherever you want and adding track information (artist, title, etc).

You can use Steinberg - Get it on CD.

You can open a wav/MP3 file listen through your mix, it lets you put track markers wherever you want and then burn direct to disc. You can also cut tracks out in to separate MP3 or WAV files, add fade in/out etc. I use it for all of my mix CD's and find is ...

Got back on to Live last night, went through my preferences and checked the computer keyboard was ticked and now key assign works

I will try this when I get home. Worringly, I seem to remembers checking this and seeing that computer keyboard was already selected, i.e. It had a green square next to it!

Yes EQ3 is engaged, I can control it with the mouse before and after I try to assign the keys.
