+1 I really expected this to be implemented in live 7. Still have to switch to other DAW's when it comes to automating. That sux.

what you can do is... using the sends and returns...
For example; if you want track 1, 2 and 3 as a group routed to a mono or stereo out... then you use the sends A of tracks 1, 2 and 3 (choose ''sends only'' instead of ''master'') and send it to return A... Return A is then your volumeslider for ...

Yeah it works great...
For example, You have a kick on track 1 and a percussionloop on track 2.
On track 2 you insert the compadre.... and you want the kick routed to that loop that it will sidechain...
Insert a returnchannel, and route the returnchannel to track 2 (Audio To) >>>(3/4 ...

I don't use external hardware except for effects etc.. and I also don't resample in ableton, or record tracks in it... I have another way of working..
I arrange samples and midi patterns in ableton, re-edit it etc., mix it in creamware and record all the tracks at once in wavelab...

If I work in xtcmode then I only use a controller via usbconnection, coz ableton is the host, if I work in sfpmode than I use one controller via midi-connection to control sfp, and one controller via usbconnection to control ableton.
That works fine for me...

I also think sfpmode is more stable ...

you don't have to use the midi port on the creamwarecard.... it should work with usb.
I work with the BCR2000 and some evolutioncontrollers.. they all work fine via usb.
You enabled the usbdevice in the preferences ? and rescanned it ?.... that is the only thing I had to do ...

there is a cool (sidechain)compressor out there now...

I found the answer on the PlanetZ forum..

For some reason the ULLI-settings aren't remembered correctly in XTC-mode, so what you do is to first change your ULLI inside XTC-mode in Live (hardware setup), first to a new setting and then the setting that you want it to run in - Then it should work ...

but unfortunately I still have some kind of digital distortion...whatever creanware synth or effect I use...
In cubase and logic it still works fine....
I also checked the planetz forum, but there I couldn't find a solution either..
But I will not give up... if ...

I would like to see ableton work in creamware's xtcmode...
(then ableton would see and treat the creamware scope plugins as vst devices..)

It works with cubase and logic.... but unfortunately not with ableton....
Maybe it has got something to do with ableton's vst-engine..
