Real sidechaining with Compressor II

This update would make my YEAR. If I could route any track to Compressor II and sidechain with it (I like to do Kick/Pad) I'd help me bunches. I haven't found a way to do true sidechaining with Ableton yet, so I mostly just edit volume envelopes

there is a cool (sidechain)compressor out there now...

a very nice plugin and not expensive...

have you gotten it to work right in Ableton?

Yeah it works great...
For example, You have a kick on track 1 and a percussionloop on track 2.
On track 2 you insert the compadre.... and you want the kick routed to that loop that it will sidechain...
Insert a returnchannel, and route the returnchannel to track 2 (Audio To) >>>(3/4-otiumFXCompadre - stereo SC). (so you route the kick via ''send'' on track 1 to the sidechain in of the compadre (audio to 2-audio / 3/4-optiumFXCompadre.))
If you set your sendknob on track 1 open, and press the ''key-in'' knob in the comapdre.. it will sidechain...

The benefits of using the sendknobs/returns is that you can sidechain more tracks with a sidechaincompressor inserted on it with the kick. (bij using send b, c etc)
