I'm running Live 8.4 on a Quad i7 MBP and using a Saffire Pro 24 audio card.

On my Audio buffer settings, rather than the normal multiples of 32, ie. 256, 512, 1024 I get an odd sequence of numbers 14, 29, 45, etc etc.

I'm on Mac. All energy saving stuff is off as I never use the battery anyway. Plus the Mac itself is only going at 50% tops.

I suppose it could be midi latency, but I can see the midi responding on Live before I hear the note audio. Reduce the stress on the system and it responds quicker. How would I remove midi latency, or at least check for it?

Does anybody have a list of the MCE functions for Live 8? That is, the cc/note controls and their corresponding functions in Live. I'm using the standard MCE .sysex patch for the BCR2000, but want to tweak it a bit for my own use.

Jorg, The set opens fine AFTER the VST's re-activated. But not after close and re-open.
I'll send the set on and see if they can identify the rogue plug-in.

The als file is 2997kb.

I deactivated the VST folder as you suggested, but it's hard to tell which of the many plugins it might be. The original warning (that I foolishly ignored) was for the Voxengo Chorus, which is now gone.
Strange that it all loads fine after the re-scan, but then won't open ...

Just to clarify Jorg, your process works, but the problem returns when I save, close and re-open the set.

When I run the diactivate VST's and then remove the plug-in, as described above.... reactivate and open the track... everything seems ok. At that point I re-save the Set under a new name. When I close the set and open it again the same ...
