Corrupt sets in 8.01 - help

hi there,
I have a re-occuring problem with my version of live 8.01.

I'll be working on a set with no problems, then it crashes when saving and from that point on I cannot re-open that set !OR! previously saved versions of that set (strangely, with different names).

I have in the past fixed this problem by removing plug-ins that I thought were causing the problem (ie. Voxengo) (through laboured process of elimination), but its happening again with all these plug-ins removed.

Any input here would be appreciated, as I'm finding Live more and more unreliable.
As you will appriciate its hard for me to assume that there is a vst at fault as i have tried removing many of them without any improvement.

first of all I would recommend to update to 8.1.3. You can find it here:

www.ableton.com/latest_versions

Please send a copy of the .als file to [email protected], so we can look into it.
