Operator Waveforms-What happened to Sine A, B, C, D and E?
I just noticed that these waveforms were missing from the Live 8 and Live 9 Operator Versions. Anyone notice this, or know why? Were they not compatible with the new additive features? Not the end of the world, but I really liked those sounds.

Just upgraded to Suite 8, so looking forward to MFL. Does anyone know if I will need a dongle to use MFL?

Re: Does using Audio Interface save CPU bandwidth? (Mac)
Not sure which type of interface I would get. I would probably consider an Apogee One or maybe one of the NI interfaces. Any other brands better? What would I look at in the specs to determine if my latency could be improved?

Does using Audio Interface save CPU bandwidth? (Mac)
I'm curious if I save any CPU bandwidth if I use an audio interface instead of Core Audio drivers? Thx.

I discovered a book called Slap Happy:

Really cool rhythms, using hands, feet, and partner.
Very good for illustrating syncopation.

Re: Red Master Track Vu Meter
More than one track?!? C'mon I'm not a power user.
I'm mostly resampling noisy little loops from Mr. Alias 2. Heck I'm not even using Mr. Alias Pro.
I guess I'll keep the levels down a bit, 'cause I'm scared of red.
Thanks for the info!

Red Master Track Vu Meter
Sometimes the master track vu display turns red, even if the source track is still green and both tracks are at the same level and well below clipping. I happens mostly with distorted or resonant settings, but even when the levels are well below clipping. Red worries me. What the heck is happening?

Yes 37 keys is definitely enough for keyboard novices. I have a Line 6 KB37.

Re: Noisy loop help needed
Thanks! I think I'm getting closer now. I decreased the master tempo, then adjusted the loop length using the segment bpm and zoomed in to find those zero points. The hard part is figuring out which is the upbeat and which is the downbeat.
And the sample isn't a joke :) Although it's probably a ...

Noisy loop help needed
I have been experimenting with Mr. Alias to make various circuit bendy noises. Some of my patches spit out interesting (to me) rhythmic drones like:

Re: Post your set up and your ugly cat...
My cat liked my previous banjo music much more than my current passion for strange sounds from Mr. Alias and rudimentary drumming. But my current setup allows me to fulfill my one man band dream.
Currently monitoring is through a small stereo system through the KB37s outs.
