Re: MFL: how to enable midi learn?
could anyone provide a little further clarification on how the "change the buttons" on the Buffler Shuffler to live.button's so that they can be assigned to midi. i would really like to know how to map the 8x8 "step" grid on the Buffer Shuffler to my Launchpad. even assigning &qu...

Re: Using MPD32 + APC40 together
I'm mostly interested in using them together... Must be a way to use the APC's out-of-the-box settings, and also use an MPD32 without conflicting. I figure I could just go one-by-one and re-program the MPD32's MIDI or CC notes.... but I was wondering if there was a faster, not quite as time-consumin...

Using MPD32 + APC40 together
Does anyone know the best method for assigning controller data when using the MPD32 and APC40 together so the assignments don't conflict with each other? I find whenever the MPD32 conflicts with a pre-existing assignment on the APC, the red 5x8 selection bar for the APC in Live's Session view disapp...

Re: Record for 2 bars then stopping and looping - possible?
any way to do this without using Looper?
i would guess there would be someway to tell the clip to record for 2 bars and then 'punch' out and loop...
but, maybe not...

Record for 2 bars then stopping and looping - possible?
Hi, This might be a fairly simple thing, but I don't use Live much for recording/looping.... Is it possible to trigger a clip to record, and then have it automatically stop recordings after 1 or 2 bars? (Basically so I dont have to hit the 'stop recording' button). In addition, is it possible to als...

limiters / mastering in live performances :
Hey all, When you play live, do you run limiters or mastering plugs? If so, do you run separate instances on each track, or on the master? Any suggestions on good individual track limiters/processors for a live environment? I use TRackPLug, but the CPU draw is too big for me. Would the new Live Limi...

what can I use for a mod-wheel for a Nord Rack?
Just wondering what Nord Lead rack users out there use as a mod-wheel, if they do not have a controller with a mod-wheel or pitch-wheel? Can these functions be mapped to a MIDI controller? Maybe a footswitch? Alot of the great Nord functionality seems linked to using the mod-wheel (i.e. morph) - so ...

Re: Sending program changes messages to Nord? How?
In the envelope section of the clip view i can see that I can assign MIDI control data - but I see no option that corresponds to Program Change data. I'm guessing that each synth has it's own dedicated MIDI CC channel that it recieves Program Change data on? Is there usually different channels for c...

Sending program changes messages to Nord? How?
Hi, I would like to send my Nord Lead program changes from Live? Is this possible? i.e - when switching from one scene to another I would like to change the program playing on my Nord from A12 to B32... how do I do this? I'm guessing CC# or a Bomes-like workaround is neccessay - but maybe there is a...

Trashed Live file on Mac - are the .als files retrievable?
I fucked up and trashed a folder containing a months work of Live work. I have used the "Data Rescue II" program to get back the files, but it only seems to retrieve the most popular file types (wav, aiff, quicktime, etc..) I actually have backups of the loops and samples and audio... but ...
