So we're mixing from CDJ's into ableton. I turn off launch quantaniztion so I can cue the ableton track and mix it in. Works like a charm.

the decoding cache resides in the same location as your temporary recording folder......change the location of this in your preferences and the cache folder will follow suit.......

I've tried and tried, but whenever I set the recording folder/decoding cache to my ext. hd, it automatically reverts it to my c: drive. I have NO more room on my internal, so i'm running out of options here.

Anyone figure this out? I have a radio show and I'm going to try using ableton and broadcast, but havn't found any solution.

I can't get it to work.... I have Traktor 2.5.3, Live 4.1.1, and an m-audio firewire audiophile. I can only run one at a time... when I run Live then start Traktor, Traktor will not recognize the sound card. Same happens when i start with Traktor and try to run Live. When using samples located on my ext hd, i get horrible lag and clips don't even play half the time. When i use clips on the internal, its fine.
