I am currently looking at switching my setup to a Macbook Pro (already owned) for portability but would like to get a really decent monitor for the studio.

The Macbook Pro has a HDMI port so I guess I could also consider a 4k TV for the purpose?

Completely agree - I have Maschine studio and Push 1 - Maschine has done the slicing since it came out.

Only difference I can see is warping of long samples in Push 2

Anything else of advantage?

Whether Push 2 or Maschine you have to come out of both to get into arranging.....

Very frustrating that Ableton haven't seemed to think this through properly.

I have NI Maschine and to be honest I think the mapping / workflow is far superior, with more or less everything accessible, quickly.

I know theres a learning curve, but basic ...

Hi - I'm experiencing some difficulties using the Traktor S4's audio inputs effectively to route audio from the Korg Monotribe into Ableton.

If I use input D (with the gain control), nothing registers in Ableton...... is there a setting to make this work?

Hi & thanks - think this is what the mixup is - I didn't mean automating eg just if I have drawn an volume pattern or similar in session clip to be able to copy same - I have to copy it from arrangement not session?

It seems such a simple inclusion - there must be some core reason in the software why they can't add this if so many are requesting it!!

I have also found if you loop the section of automation you want in arrangement - you can copy go to session and ...
