same here, I used it in Live 7 demo (I didn't update my Live 6), it's a nice tool, but hell it's expensive, too expensive for me. damn, that means paying updates... strangely I just noticide that today, after almost 4 years of work with live. Maybe I could live with it, waiting Live for 8 (I haven't updated to live 7 considering the lack of session automation recording, so no drumracks for me...)...

almost 3 years later, any fix for that one???

I just noticed oday, after several years using live, a strange behaviour on my laptop. I cannot test it atm on my main computer, but here is the deal: when playing impulse live with my pad kontrol, the pad 1 (usually kick) "gate" the pad 8 (usually hh or ride). the last pad seems to be on the same ...

does sampler have timestretching in Live 7?? if not, that's a strongpoint for kontakt, if you need such a tool.

1/clip automation recording in session view. the reason I don't upgraded to Live 7.

I m sure you re right, even if I m not in the first beta pool. The video of the drumrack is almost enough to make me update, but I m still afraid: how abletons can "avoid" the session automation recording ...

You can record automation in session with any plug-in that has its own midi learn. All the stuff I want to automate does have midi learn so this is not a problem for me. Once I purchased Live, I made sure the main 3rd party plug-ins I purchased had this.

One more year to wait for a new chance to get automation recording in session... It's annoying, simply, especially because we don't have any words from the baes about this one. But hell, what about being LIVE and being unable te record what you make... LIVE!

Price isn't the reason people hack. It is because they can.

True, but price can be the reason why they finally choose to support or not the software. Everyone can have a cracked version, the deal is to make them realize that supporting ableton is a fair deal, and that abes deserve their money.
