Win XP + Live 8.0.2 = Immediate Crash on Startup.
PC: Quad Core 9400, 4Gb ram, ASUS PQ5 Pro MB.
Windows XP SP3
Live 7.0.16 runs stable.
Bought the Ableton Suite 8 Box upgrade. Did not open the box,
instead, downloaded Ableton 8.0.2 from the homepage.
Installed it.
Crashes on startup _everytime_ I try to start it.
Tried renaming my VST-plugin ...

Low Latency Delta 1010L Fizzling sound
I have two PCI-cards in my system,
A M-Audio Audiophile 24/96 and a Delta 1010LT card
They use the same driver.
When running buffers lower than 256 bytes, e.g. 128 or 64 bytes
there sometimes appear a fizzling almost alias-like distortion that
appears vaguely and then dissappears.

I'm using the padKontrol without any external software like maxpatch or anything, just Abletons native support.
This works fine for playing drumracks.
Also, assigning the x-y-pad works, for instance assigning freq/rez to the x/y

Hi All, I have been looking for an answer on the forum but not found
any... so:
I wonder, what is the default behaviour/capabilities of the
korg PadKontrol in Ableton Live 7 ?
I have enabled the control surface and yes, I can play midi-notes on the
