I produce with live and reason.
In Version 5.2 i have make a Set wieth Reason etc.
When i start the set, and then the set in Reason, in 5.2 everythin with the cpu is ok. (Live Display 12 %).
In Live 6 the cpu Display 35 % when the sets dont run.
When i close Reason, the cpu display 10 %.
But ...

i´m a registrated User. I have live 5 on my laptop an on my musicworkstation.

Today i cant open live on both computer.

anybody the same probs?

The laptop has an netacces, the musicworkstation not.!!!!

I have found the Problem!

I have an RME 9632 Hammerfall DSP Soundcard with the newest driver and firmware.

When i choose in Live 5 an other Driver (for example the driver for the Motherboard intern Soundcard), it runs without any probs.

the problem, that i can´t rout direktly into a returnchannel happens too with all other vst´s or ableton instruments.

But it work´s on my laptop.

In my desktopsystem where i have a powercore ist dont run :(

Also the way when i route a midichannel into an audiochannel an from that channel ...

Live 5.0.1 & Powercore Element
Midichannel 1 an Virus with any Padsound
Four Returnchannels with one Classic Reverb each.

The Routing from the Midichannel into RETURNS ONLY dont work, Live crashs.

!!! Same Prob in 5.0.2 b3 You cant route the virus only to a returnchannel!! Runtimeerror!

When i installed the plug in´s from DB Audioware correctly in the plugin Folder, i cant find it in live.

In Wavelab or cubase the plug is available.


What can it be.

i have re-installed the virus, have download a new Version, the crackles are away.. I think Tc/and Ableton is on the right way

Ok, that ist realy bad, but i think twice.

Today i send a big email with ALS and mp3 demos of the bug to Ableton, i hope and think i can get an positiv result out of it.

Ok, when you say the lead sound runs out of time, what do you mean?
Are you using an arp and that gets out of sync?
Are you using delays and those get out of sync?
Is the midi itself getting out of sync?

Yes i meand an arppegiator.

Yes you can.

My Virus works in live 5 better than in 4.
But an fast Arp. has big Problems, it runs out of time, notes hang up !!
I need one loop befor the Virus is in Time.

And when i open an instanz of the virus it crackels so loud when i play the first 4-5 Notes.

No Powercore plug in runs on live 5. The Virus pusch the CPU over !!14000 %!!!! .
My powercore runs on live 4 and cubase.
