dear forum,
i have updated my desktop from windows 10 to 11 and now after every live start i get the message that the machine id has changed and i am asked if it should authorized to the new machine.
i have found the article in the knowledge base about this but i didnt manage to find that hidden ...

i hope the intonation plugin can do artefacts free stuff. not interested into that sher thing.

i have two display,too.

and a 1080p mp4 does simply not work...

i will try the drivers mentioned in this thread.

i am totally with you and will chime in every single time until ableton makes video work on windows

other daws have simply working video implementation..

please ableton do something here. i dont want to fumble around on my own in my computer to MAYBE make this work.

i am on 11.2.6 and importing and playing back a video in live doesnt work.

mp4 and mov formats.

both videos play back perfect on my buddies ableton on mac but on my windows
computer nothing works.

live does only play every second a frame until after some time it completly crashes.

I got it fumbled out.

It was one single plugin which stopped working from one day to the other and crashes everything.

With projects crashing Live upon opening.

Turns out that when computer restart is not helping and a project won't open, changing the name of the vst folder, restarting live, opening the project pluginless (if it works that way) and saving it under a different name does the trick even without ...

i found the tip to press ALT during startup and this bypassed the vst3 folder.

THEN my project opened. i was kind of relieved because then it looked like it is a plugin thing.

then i fumbled out that ONE pluggin which worked 13 hours ago did crash ableton live completly.

i have the same problem.
just wanted to open a project i saved 15 hours ago and ableton crashed with this same error message.

and now i cannot even load other old projects.

and then i started cubase and cannot open old projects, there, too.

HELP

i did reinstalled cubase suite 11.1.6

But on a more serious note.

For example steinberg releases an update every december.

Ableton doesnt seem to have something like this?
I would actually applaud it because i would prefer that you actually have something before you release something.
