How do mp3's help? You cant record straight to an mp3, you have to encode it from wav/aiff (afaik). Which stilll leaves you with the same problem. Wiretap lets me record straight to mp3... my workaround at the moment is to load up my set, hit record on wiretap, play on ableton and set a timer. Howe...

The nice thing about rendering to mp3 is that it would get around the 2gig file size limit when rendering 4 hour sets, at the moment I have to play them and wiretap... half a day to convert a set to mp3! Is a lot more than 10 seconds. Why are you using FAT32 file system? Switch to NTFS and you won'...

Smart - how do you find connecting h/w on a send/return loop via your soundcard? Any latency problems? I was thinking of getting a Kaoss Pad but that was one of the things putting me off. Is it easy to deal with? No real probs, I use a spdif digital send to the lex and then use my traveller's built...

If you Rewire, can you run ProTools on the same machine as Live, using a non-ProTools-sanctioned soundcard, like RME's Multiface? And if that's a "no," can you launch ProTools with a ProTools-sanctioned soundcard, but then Rewire ProTools through Live and use only your non-ProTools-sanctioned sound...

2 Hr Electro House Lapjock Set
http://www.beatrouteproductions.com/Music/DirtyConversationsWithAngels.mp3 I posted another mix from New Years Eve in Vinkalmann's Electro House thread, but I took it down, this one has a lot of the same tracks but I think it flows way better. Let me know what you think Tracklist: Lesson One (Origin...

A quick note, with my system I find that the bcr2000 has a significantly longer midi lag time than the uc33, you certainly can't snap the knobs like you can on the uc, the faster I spin the knobs on the bcr the slower my response time (I have seen this on my buddies bcf as well), since I have both I...

Try using manual relink in the task window, if your tracks are all the same length you could just spot them into a new session (this won't work if you have lots of plug-ins running obviously). Come to think of it you could open the session, skip relinking, import the tracks and spot them in. Go into...
