Get a bcr 2000 instead. They go cheaper then a uc33e in most stores. And they're awesome controllers.

You don't have the faders. But i hardly miss them.
I got some crappy plastic faders on my Trigger Finger, but the response seems better.

The uc33 is due for an update

I had the uc 33 for 2 years i think. Then i sold it because i was fed up with the lack of soft take-over.

The bcr is rocking my world. The LED's give feedback from the parameters in Live.
Which means: if i map a parameter from Live to a knob on the bcr and then move that parameter in Live with the mouse.... the LED around the knob moves to show the correct position.

Loads of advantages with the BCR....
Just do a search on this forum for it.

Cheers

There are no shops in Ireland that stock it. €156 isnt so bad. Its only 26 euro more. Delivery from europe would bring it up to €160 easily.
Thanks for all the info.

A quick note, with my system I find that the bcr2000 has a significantly longer midi lag time than the uc33, you certainly can't snap the knobs like you can on the uc, the faster I spin the knobs on the bcr the slower my response time (I have seen this on my buddies bcf as well), since I have both I use the uc33 for Live/DJ situations where I need quick control, the bcr sits in the studio and is more used for mixing and programming my synths.

If anybody has had any luck reducing the lag time on the behringers please let me know.

BCR is very fine on my system... instant reaction. But I haven't tried UC33.

I was planning on using the BCR/Ableton via the USB port. Any experience with that?
