iPod as audio interface?

Has anyone tried using an iPod as an audio interface(Second headphone out) on a Mac?

Anyone know what software would be needed?

Doesn't matter how fast the computer is, as long as it's above about 800 mhz, you won't be able to keep up with actual USAGE anyway. And if it's rendering something you shouldn't be sitting at it...



I've never seen a difference in the speed between PC's and Macs...

I don't ever recall seeing one ...

AdamJay has an awesome post in tips and tricks on how to use multiple .wav files for each song and decrease hard drive space usage. This does assume you are DJing 'dance' music...

with a virtual disk driver it i will make no difference if the source is mp3, or whatever, it will see it as WAV.

Yes upon import it could take up a bit more CPU, but honestly not that much. Making mp3's take up waaay more CPU than converting mp3 to wav and all I'm saying is there could be ...
