This is an essential need for working with External midi gear in a project . The Ability to to save what Bank & preset your devices is using . all the other DAWS have this and Live needs it too .

I had this wish for Logic as well ... unfortunately this "organizing by brand feature" is built in to either the plugin , core audio or both so the Abes are not going to be able to do anything about it .

First of I am using Live 6.0.10 (don't know if that's the ish)on osx10.5.6
Ok ....so I am doing a really glitchy drum part and I have 3 parameter automation envs recorded
1 for sample stretching in impulse the other two for seq reset and seq lifespan in automation ....the problem the latter two ...

Not only being a huge demand for devs right now (not just Ableton ) ,but also being very competitive (have you seen Five12 numerology :?: )

But instead of this being a plugin it should be a view choice in the midi editor view :

Or they could just build in an Editor/Librarian (think Midi quest)
With the basic on screen control parameters (like lives vst parameter view)
user definable/download-able definitions ...
(so you don't have to bloat the overall app size ) you could also release the basic sdk so that ameture ...
