In the "MIDI From" selector menu in each MIDI track we have the choice of selecting : one only source OR all the available Midi sources merged together .

It could be so simple and convenient to control-click different Midi sources to be merged instantly .

For instance when playing live with Thesys ...

i just downloaded live 8.1 and installed again over the previously live 8 suite .
everything works fine now

jost got Live 8,1 and Max for Live
Max seems to works fine but Live crashes when loading audio files from browser and when doing cut copy/paste for effects from one track to one other .
so absolutely impossible to use this version of Live . not cool when spending a lot to upgrade to live 8 and then ...

It could be nice to see dynamically the transfer function by placing the input bargraph horizontally
this could be fine in the multiband compressor showing 3bargraph meters corresponding with the splitted bands.
a such feature did exist in the multiband dynamic tool (MDT) from Antares and i loved ...

The most important feature i request is inputs and output surround capability .
as Max for Live MUST use Live ins and outs it will not give today surround possibilities to Live .
i hope Live 9 will support surround at least and multichannel 4-6-8 with and without LFE .

i dont know why but sometimes it works in Live browser and sometimes not .
i have to click several times in the window

1-the microsync does reflect tempo changes immediately
2-nobody knows how much time the microsync takes as it depends of the musical material
3-i have tried with microsync and live using the midi ...

the redsound microsync is not very accurate
anyway the tempo changes arrive too late and Live cannot lookforwards.

drag and drop problems with the Mach5 AU 1.2.2
with Mach5 you have to drag and drop the soundfiles between the mac browser
and the Mach5 window so when you drag the soundfile the Mach5 window disappears sometime .

it would be nice to to get more than 2 outputs from Mach5 in Live ...

waves 5 vst plug ins dont display correctly
the plug in window uses all the screen and the presets are not accessible from the audio track vew. some animation of modulation in the plug ins like the ball in mondomod do not display correctly but the sound is ok.
