Re: Question about learning Music Theory and Performance

Theory is the most important part of producing music on a computer. You dont have to have to best chops because you can bang out ...

Re: I'm developing a new tv series "Breaking Wind"
I figure with the success of the whole Walter White & Jesse thing, there's a huge appetite for quality programming about a day in the life of an antihero and such. So basically, my rough plot outline has our protagonist "Corky Baggott", a 41 yr. man who suffers from gout, a club foot and chronic Ch...

Re: Adding Warmth to your Synth
I must say I'm not an expert in electronics but I don't think analog synths generally have tubes inside them. Except perhaps the Electribe MX but this was added as an extra to the output signal path for extra "warmth". There is still of course "warmth" in analog synths (and other gear) without tube...

Re: External HD cross platform solution
you can format that drive so that the pc uses one side and mac uses the other or something. just tell the drive formatter thing on mac(disk utility) that you want to use both pc and mac and it works fine.

Re: Jazzmutant Lemur for SALE!!
this whole thread is terribly stupid. i dont have any idea what tone deft is talking about cpus and gpus or whatever, its just a osc controller(midi too?). if anything the lemur will put more strain on your system because you have to run extra software to use it. and BTW: the lemur is now officially...
