ok my bad.I did have the RM1X for years as well. Navigating into nested menus in tiny hardware displays is not my idea of fun or "intuitive".
I must be kinda alien, to me, after some years using it, it became intuitive.
but I agree, as I said, trying to use the rm1x when you just come from live or fruity loops, is indeed NOT intuitive, as when you try digital performer, or logic, when you"re used to work with live...
Again, I'm not globally comparing the RS7000 to live or maschine, indeed it would be foolish
I'm speaking of MIDI, perhap's shall I re-read the whole thread and see that no one cares about midi here
no problem mate, your arguments are solid, but I keep saying it, perhap's OT, that the RS7000 or even the RM1X are more powerful than maschine and live when it comes to control and sequence hardware synths... obviously less easy to use, but deeper and more complete (sysex, nrpns, CCs, quantization till 1/480...)
