Re: Best Sounding DAW
I love how far this thread has spiraled out of control.
Spend more time in your DAW of choice and less time shit talking on other DAWs and your music will sound better regardless.
Doesn't matter which damn DAW you use, a bad song is going to sound bad in every DAW. There is no magic DAW that takes ...

Re: EQing problem ?
So i'm having a similar problem with taking my music from my bed room studio to the car stereo.
I'm finding that when i'm making a track everything sounds fine and all the elements in the are in frequency ranges that seems right to me. But when i take my macbook out to my car to preview the track on ...

Re: Finishing tracks: Some tips to improve your song production
I definitely think this post is going to help me a lot. I constantly find myself getting to what seems like 75% through writing and arranging a song only to fall out of love with it because the structure makes no sense and is either boring or just too much to listen to.

Re: Cracking/Popping-REVERB
just throwing an idea out here but what is your audio buffer set to?
it works best when set to numbers like 128, 256, 512, 1024 samples, etc.
the larger the number the more stuff your processor can handle and still put out an uninterupted sound (ie. cracking and popping sounds) (reverb can ...

Re: m-audio oxygen49 (61) help - midi assign to buttons
yep its all set up right in preferences.
i think i need to open the software and try editing it.
when ever i assign those buttons it comes up in the midi window as pitchbend something or other with values like a knob or fader has. so something is up with my keyboard.
can't do it till i get off ...

i recently upgraded from live 7 le to live 7 full via a box they sent in the mail just like you (the original poster).
if you buy the boxed version of live 7 full
you get EIC2
if you buy the download version of live 7 full
you do not get EIC2

m-audio oxygen49 (61) help - midi assign to buttons
i've been trying to assign the buttons beneath the faders on my oxygen49 to mute/solo/arm and i can't get it to do anything at all.
i know that live lets you assign these features to midi so i know that the problem is with my oxygen49. or its a stupid mistake on my part. but i'm stumped at this ...

Re: floating resizable windows
having the floating resizable windows as a setting in preferrences would be best.
one of the reasons i love live so much is because it is so easy to see and work with on my 13" macbook. but if i was using multiple screens i would definately want the floating windows.
