Hey man, You need to change the sample rate of your audio to say 8 bit, and add distortion.

Bottom line people, No matter what your instrument is, turntables, guitar, horns, something electronic, strings, or what ever. You’re either a musician or your not. If your not- you won’t be making music, will you?

why bother with all the audio editing apps, when al you need to do is warp, select and consolidate?

The only thing is-you need perfect cuts, and if your warping anything other than strait 8's, 16's whatever, you can loose the feel.

I would like to add also, you need to have perfect loops that make since musically. It's like making a song with drum loops, but using loops of song parts instead

@ metronome: Doesn't megamixing only consists of chopping up songs? I would chop song parts and remix them together with a common beat structure so that the tempo wouldn’t jump every where. Recycle can handle up to 5 minute files. Chop, recycle, and remix. It wouldn’t be a simple cut and paste. Eq'...

Not only did I splice tape, but I used to mix with 1800's-not 1200's

Re: sasha

i'm not a fan of sasha or the music he plays or the way he, imo, comes across as "wow, i've done this amazing thing with ableton live--cutting up tracks and djing my own edits of things" as if it is some big deal. richie hawtin did that on his dex and efx releases, and better, ditto for the same co...

All the people here talking shit about Sasha, I'll ask you a question?
Have you had the successes that Sasha has had? If not-then why the fuck are you talking shit about him? I'm not really a fan of Sasha's music because it’s not my thing, but the question is raised?
