Re: Where was that serial number...
That doesn't tell me anything useful. "Product Registration" only tells me the date of my last successful authorization, and gives links explaining HOW to authorize. Nothing that gives the actual serial number I'm supposed to enter.

Where was that serial number...
Hi, I just had to have my laptop's logic board replaced and Live wants me to enter the serial number again. Unfortunately I can't remember where it is. Would it have been on the disk/disk sleeve? I can't seem to find my install disk, or the box for that matter. I can only find the manual.

Freeze track file settings
Is there a way to change what bit depth the "Freeze Track" command creates audio files at? Even if the project is set to 24 or 16 bit, the Freeze Track command creates 32 bit files. I'm trying to work with someone else and we don't have any of the same softsynths, but freezing a bunch of tracks at ...

Re: Can you export an arrangement?
Bump.
Does anyone know how to do this? It will be really irritating to have to recreate the arrangement from short MIDI clips in DP.

Can you export an arrangement?
Am I correct in thinking Live (7) doesn't allow for exporting an arrangement of MIDI clips as a MIDI file? I know how to export an individual clip, but I want to export the whole arrangement I've just made with the clips I have.

Re: How do YOU use Live? In a live performance setting...
A bit of both... All our songs are loaded into a "mega-set" (sure it can be a lot of work to set up... ours are 110 tracks wide x 250 scenes deep... but do it once, and then you can play with it and build on it).
We use a lot of Dub delays in our stuff, and often use the regenerating delay tail to ...

Re: How do YOU use Live? In a live performance setting...
Thanks for the videos. Those were both decent videos, but they were both centered on one song. I'm curious about a whole set. I've got the one-song method down.
Pitch Black, do you play discrete songs or do you play them continuously? If continuously, how do you go from song to song?

How do YOU use Live? In a live performance setting...
Those of you who use Live...live:
How exactly do you use it? There are lots of videos and tutorials and tips and tricks, but they're usually pretty specific, like "how to do X". I'd like to get some tips on general use in a live show.

I can do that, and that's what I started doing when the first way didn't work. I had a long MIDI file from DP that I opened up, and I was splitting a track into different clips. My first thought was to copy what I wanted from clip A and paste into clip B, rather than duplicate all of clip A and then ...

New to Live - question about copying & pasting MIDI
I just got Live, and I've been figuring out how to use it and working on adapting some already finished songs so I could use Live to perform them live.
