Is there a way to change what bit depth the "Freeze Track" command creates audio files at? Even if the project is set to 24 or 16 bit, the Freeze Track command creates 32 bit files. I'm trying to work with someone else and we don't have any of the same softsynths, but freezing a bunch of tracks at 32 bits makes huge files to pass back and forth.
Also, is there a way to save as an earlier Live version? The guy I'm working with has version 8 and I have version 7.
Freeze track file settings
Re: Freeze track file settings
no & no
freeze works at 32 bit because that is the depth at which audio is being processed within the live environment
if you want other bit depths then you can render or bounce to another audio track
you can't save in earlier formats
