Re: How many controllers can control each parameter - midi map

yes, there's a utility, a midi editor, although it doesn't explain the differences between the scenes. They all seem the same, but are obviously different since I can program them differently in Ableton.

Re: How many controllers can control each parameter - midi map

Actually, it is the same device, nanokontrol, just two different "scenes" within the device. I've been looking on the korg forum to see what the exact difference is between the different scenes, but haven't found anything so far. Anyone know exactly how they work?

I looked inside the editor ...

Re: How many controllers can control each parameter - midi map

Nice, I'll have to see if I can edit my controller so that the exact same message us sent on two presets.

If anyone is curious, I'm trying to use a nanokontrol (guitar center price matched Amazon for $42, FYI) and on one scene I want to be able to select individual tracks, and on another scene I ...

How many controllers can control each parameter - midi map

I did a search and could not find anything.

What if I want to control the "view track" parameter with mrs than one controller, is that possible?

Can more than one knob or fader control the same exact parameter?

Re: Pretty Lights-Passing by Behind Your Eyes

He used to play a lot of local things around Colorado's Front Range. It simply just took off all of a sudden, very word of mouth. My friend used to have parties in the mountains and they would play once in a while, really really late, long parties. A lot of the attending people go to a lot of shows ...

Re: music theory

If you want to learn the why, I'd check out the website I posed above, it's got a lot of info on it. If you guys bug me enough, I'll start putting pictures of keyboards and guitars up there too.

This is a website I made for beginning theory. Everything up to Melodic Minor is up there. If someone starts hounding me to do more, I'd be more than happy to, it's just tough to find time in the day.

Re: Opening Sets While Performing

I think you meant improvising, not improving. But yeah, if there aren't any improvisations, then render it and load up all your tracks into one live set.

Re: triggering the "Auto filter" effect with velocity ?

you could add another midi track, assign a channel to the epiano, and then a seperate channel to another instrument with the sound off, as a dummy clip kind of. Then, hmm, I might be on the right track, but I'm not sure where you'd go from there. I'm at work, and can't try the stuff out right now.

Re: triggering the "Auto filter" effect with velocity ?

pretty sure you can side chain the auto filter, so I think so. Never done it though, so I'm not much help. Also, since it's called an "auto filter", you would think that would be the main objective of it, otherwise it would just be a "filter".

Re: help with chord progressions

I thought it made sense the first time. The pictures always make things easier, where did you get them? I need to add pictures to my website, but it's been a slow process since I got addicted to Ableton.
