I need to trigger markers on the main machine and have the second machine follow.
These markers are being moved around between shows. Thats why it's hard to use an external clock for me.

Does anyone know any external mtc generator app or hardware that can be triggered by midi ...

I think that sync over LAN on mac is working ok for me in live.
Except for the problem that it only works up too 1000 bars, which makes it hard to have a full live set synced on two machines.

I need one of the machines to be master, so an external clock is not an option for me.

Any solutions ?

if you are on mac only vst is officially working, au sometimes doesn't pass sound through.

Thanks for the reply. What I would like to do is to be able to "drag" the scenes around with midi commands. It's possible to drag them around with the mouse, but I have a setup where it would be cool to be able to do this via midi.

Does anyone know if it's possible to rearrange the scenes via midi

batch export of files. please be inspired by cubase 5 export

mono audio tracks. that will make it possible to use my mono ir's in altiverb amongst other things

I am having some problem using my Waves 6.0.8 mercury bundle and Abbey road plugins under Live 8.0.8 in snow leopard.
The GUI is working, but the plugins are not processing the sound. Anyone else experiencing this?

I would love to see Ableton / Logickeyboard do a colorcoded keyboard with all the shortcuts, would you pay for that as well?

I am getting very poor performance compared to my "old" 2008 mac pro that was an eight core 2.8ghz.
I have problems reaching lower latencies than 512/1024 samples with a decent amount of plugins.

One session I am running now has 11 tracks and around 30 mixed plugins. That consumes 83% of the CPU ...

I just tried to disable hyperthreading and play around with the settings of my nehalem mac pro.
I got the best results using only 2 cores and no hyperthreading.

Hope that Apple will make it ease for Ableton and others to really harnest the power of these machines in snow leopard.

has anyone tried turning off hyperthreading on their nehalem mac pro's to see if thats it?
