Since I want to get both my machinedrum and this beast on as carryon baggage, I think I may try finding a small keyboard bag that fits like a microkorg or something, and then the pelican case I already have for the machinedrum. Put both of those in the smallest ...

I cut the foam outta the cardboard inner box it came in and glued it up inside a fairly road sturdy cd deck and mixer box from samash.
fits the lappy as well I might add.
And when you get it to the show you flip the box over on a keyboard stand and voila, instant table to rock your set on, correct ...

Yeah I've been looking at tons... problem is the sucker is 18.5 inches long..

don't listen to them, they probably have huge monkey hands which make it hard to hit smaller pads :D
And you can adjust the sensitivity of the pads to your liking.
I love mine and bought it mainly for the pads, and automap is the straight bannanas.

Do you really like the pads? They don't move ...

Worst pads ever.
They seem to be useful only as toggles.

Figured out my problem regarding everything working except knob turns.
I needed to reinstall the new templates... apparently they didn't get installed the first time.

PS: the knob-jump-even-on-pick-up bug is annoying as shit, however it does work if you turn Ableton's pickup mode on...

Check the bottom of the screen when mapping the param, it lets you pick what type of encoding the pot uses.. I use faderfoxes, but I can't remember it off the top of my head.

The sequencer IS very intuitive and easy to use. However, to get a variation in your pattern, you need to program a whole new pattern in another pattern slot. For instance, if you have a 4 bar pattern looping and you want to add something, you have to insert another pattern. Maybe I'm wrong, but I ...

Wish I still had mine.. but I was in a financial crunch and sold it to buy new computer parts, which overall has helped me out a lot more.
I will definitely buy another one once I have some extra cash though.
