Re: file managment
Hi stvm,
If you use a Mac computer, you can use Automator to do this fairly easily:
- Find all files in a given folder
- For every file in the folder
- Open the file using live
- Collect and Save
- Close the file
... etc. I can go into more details if you need to.

Using drum racks with a single plugin instance
Is it possible to use a drum rack where the pads map to a single instance of a plugin (I'm using Microtonic from SonicCharge). It seems that all I can create is a rack with as many microtonics as there are pads.
I've also read the ableton manual but it confused me more than it helped in this regard ...

Is it just me or the application icon for 8.1.1 shows the default OSX icon (on a mac, obviously).

Re: Thinking about making the change to mac....
I'll try to keep this short. I've been messing about with computers for the last 25 years. Unix, DOS, windows; I've seen them all and I can wrap my head around pretty much any computer problem. Two years ago, I bought a brand new vista machine. Performance was horrible. Fixed that and ran happily ...

Re: I'm giving away One Automap Pro license!
Just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year. I ain't out in town giving money/food/favours to beggars, just staying home with the wife and kids on dec. 31st. Wife is watching TV while I struggle to hell with this 8-bar chorus. It's just not happening. Been hammerin' at it for the past few weeks ...

Wouldn't a MIDI mapping to the TAP tempo button work?

Where did that pedal go?
I just bought a sustain pedal today to go with my shiny new pianoteq acquisition. I was recording stuff into live today, mostly piano MIDI performances.
However, I want to do some fine-tuning to these recordings and I'm looking for a way to edit the sustain pedal performance. Where can I find this ...
