I have a BIG PROBLEM with the new Live 2.02 on my G4 1,25 Ghz (Mac OS 9.2.2)
I haven t got this problem with the 2.01 update .

I use Live in SLAVE MOD in Cubase 5 VST 32 r1PB2 .
When i try to do it with the 2.02 version ... it doens t work:

the probleme that you have when you try to quite Cubase 5 is normal ...because Live 1.5 is a little bit slow to quite.So if you try to quit the host app (cubase) quicly just after live....you have probleme.

solution/ when you quite live in rewire slave mode...count :"1...2...3...4...5 ...

there is some problems betwen Live 1.5b and Pulsar 3.01.
I work on Mac G4 500 / Mac Os 9.2.2.

I have tested Live 1.5b in 2 audio contexts :

1- Pulsar ASIO 24 bit / 48 Khz --(It is my work context) . It doesnt work at all !
Pulsar driver can not be loaded !

2-Pulsar ASIO 24 bit / 44.1 Khz ...

Live 1.5b Mac have a importante difference of comportement under 44.1 or 48 Khz .
(G4 500 / Mac Os 9.2.2 / Pulsar 3.01)


In Cubase 5.1 r2 , when live is used in " Rewire slave"mode (with 2 rewire input ) :

1- 44.1 Khz context --- all seems work ...Sound is good , heard syncro is good ...

before to send you a real "beta-report" i wonder if you know that these bug are in this Beta Version.

1.Live used like Rewire Slave in cubase...
...Have syncro problems . The tempo is good but the time mark (like bars or part cycle) not correspond to the Cubase bar and cycle.

Will next Live update work with the pulsar 3 Harware ?
I need to prepare live project but i must konw if i can use Live and Pulsar on MAC(Os 9.2.2) in few days ?

Is it possible to had this fonction in next updates?

in WARP settings have more quantistion choices in the TRANSIENT RES. setting .
e.g : 8 t , 16t , 32t and dotted notes too
This fonction can gived more realistic or creative effects.

I was speaking about a total signal rooting to the aux (or bus).
With pre-aux you are just abble to mix the track signal with the aux signal.
Have acces to aux at the TRACK OUPOUT is more quick and easy !

Is it possible to have this fonction in live audio routing :?:

Have the choice to send signal in \"aux\" by 2 way:
1° normal way
-move the \"send\" bouton (1,2,3 or 4) to mix a track with aux effect(1,2,3 or 4).

2° \"group\" \'s way
-assign the signal to the \"aux\"(1,2,3 or 4) at the track ...

a little idéa:

Give to live this importante fonction to allways keep groove:

"insert plug-in delay compensation".

It is a AUTOMATIC compensation of the latency done by plugs that you insert in the live project.

I had tried Live 1.1 with pulsar 3.01.
It work better but not enough to work fine.
now my ASIO 2 Pulsar driver is reconized by Live but when i record i have some audio "clac !" .
On mac when you have some audio "clac !" you have to change the "buffer size"(e.g bigger).But in live's audio ...

(to ableton admin and testers )

I have a probleme with the Waves native gold bundle 3.2 in live.
Could you please tell me if you have the same ?

When i re-load a project who use waves plug in (these plugs use a Waves-shell) , the plug is not loaded...i have a message with a "loading error" and live load a "empty wave plug-in ...

To "RECORD AGAIN" on a track :
Click on the last symbol at the track 's buttom.
(the "active record" button).
That all fine !
