Select Choke Group in batches?
Is there a way to batch-select or whatever a bunch of samples in Drum Rack? I have a ton of samples that I want all set to the same choke group, but I can't seem to find a way to do it all at once, instead of one by one (which takes forever and gives me carpal tunnel in my clicking finger :/).

Re: Sample gets quieter
Not to revive an old thread, but I'm having the same problem. Pretty much the first thing I tried was cranking up the Decay/Sustain/Release times, but there's still a noticeable drop in volume. I thought I must be missing something, but I really can't see anything that I've looked over.
Any ideas?

Bounced tracks peaking, yet audibly quieter?
I have this problem that I only just started noticing today:
I'm trying to bounce all of my instrument tracks down to audio tracks so that I can easily use them as loops for playing Live live. However, this weird problem started to happen, no matter what project I'm working on (at first I thought ...

Percussion getting in the way of a loud mix
I'm sure this has been covered before in the depths of some super-long thread, but seeing as how my question is somewhat specific, and the search words for my question are somewhat broad, i though I'd just apologize and start a new thread.

Re: Spectrum/EQ/Low-end problems - am I a dummy?

Although the lower frequencies do seem to be attenuated, theoretically, shouldn't everything below 100Hz be completely muted?

Re: Spectrum/EQ/Low-end problems - am I a dummy?
Sorry -
I just have an audio track with an EQ-8/Spectrum chain, with the EQ first, and Spectrum last.
Is it really just more of a problem with Live's built-in EQ's? Or am I missing something insanely dumb?

Spectrum/EQ/Low-end problems - am I a dummy?
While I'm trying to roll off all frequencies under around 100Hz for instruments that either aren't supposed to be bassy, or basses that need to leave room for the actual SUB bass, I notice, through Spectrum, that I'm still getting frequencies as low as 12Hz. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or is ...

Re: Multiple tracks - Inserting plug-in to all tracks at once?
That's a good idea, but if I already have a project going with a ton of tracks, this won't really help a whole lot...
That IS a really good idea for a fresh project, though.

Multiple tracks - Inserting plug-in to all tracks at once?
Hey -
I did a search but could not find anything on this... maybe I was wording it incorrectly... if I was, sorry.
Anyways, I was curious if there is a way to add an instance of a plug-in - i.e. an EQ-8 or Spectrum - to all of my audio tracks at once.

Re: Slice to MIDI problems - breakbeats
Not to resurrect an old thread, but if anyone is having this problem, I realized what I was doing wrong -
After warping/adjusting/doing your "thang" to the audio clip that is to be sliced, CONSOLIDATE. This kinda bugs me, because I think this is an unnecessary step, but I realized that this has to ...

Thanks for all the replies.
DangerousDave - Point definitely taken. The music production analogy was a good one. I do appreciate the insight, since I would like to learn to tinker around with this kind of stuff... At least now I know where to start!

Artwork - Computer-generated "buildings" - how?
Hey all -
I know nothing about computer animation/computer-generated images, but I'm wondering - what program/technique is used to make a picture like the one below, where it looks loosely like some anonymous "sci-fi"-esque building? I've seen these images in various places over the years, usually ...

Pitch-shifting - quality - techniques?
Most of the electronic music I make and listen to is very breakbeat-oriented. I've been listening to a lot of Luke Vibert lately, and cannot get over how good all of his samples sound, whether it be drums, strings, vocals, or whathaveyou.

Re: Slice to MIDI problems - breakbeats
However, aside from how it sounds, why, when the audio gets sliced to MIDI by transients, are the MIDI notes not quantized? And when I quantize them, it starts to sound all shitty.
Because the break was played by a real drummer, who will never be 100% quantised.
