Multiple tracks - Inserting plug-in to all tracks at once?
Hey -
I did a search but could not find anything on this... maybe I was wording it incorrectly... if I was, sorry.
Anyways, I was curious if there is a way to add an instance of a plug-in - i.e. an EQ-8 or Spectrum - to all of my audio tracks at once.
I'm not looking to set up a return/bus track, as I want a separate instance of a plug-in on each track, so I can EQ/analyze each track independently.
Basically, I'm just looking to not have to drag an EQ-8 to each track, one-by-one.
Help?
Thanks.

Set up one track how you want it then ctrl d / cmd d to duplicate as many as you want.

That's a good idea, but if I already have a project going with a ton of tracks, this won't really help a whole lot...
That IS a really good idea for a fresh project, though.

Another way which works a bit faster than click and drag would be keyboard shortcuts in the form of ctrl/cmd c then ctrl/cmd v - works a treat for me.

Hey bro. One way around this is to add whatever effect you want into the returns tracks and then you can batch change the input on each track by highlighting all the tracks! hope this helps

The natural way would be to select all tracks where you want the device/plug-in and then drag this to one of them, which should, like with many other multi-selected tracks operations, do the same thing — adding said device/plug-in in this case — on all selected tracks.lookwhaticando wrote:I was curious if there is a way to add an instance of a plug-in - i.e. an EQ-8 or Spectrum - to all of my audio tracks at once.
But no.
Make some music!

Would be nice if there was a batch add functionality.
