I'm not the kind of guy to make posts like this, but...
Live 8.0.4 is dangerous.
Crash, crash, crash.
I hate to sound so harsh, but damn... what a mess.
All previous versions have been stable 99% of the time for me... but this new update has greatly upset my MiKo.

Re: Using Transpose envelope on small section of vocal track.
I just checked it on 8.0.4 for you and it's working fine. Do you have 'warp' enabled and I did it with the grid off. Double check all your other settings cause it's working. Oh also make sure your warp algorhythm is not on pitch... I used complex and complex pro.

Using Transpose envelope on small section of vocal track.
I using Live 8.0.4 and what I want to do is:
I recorded a vocal track.
I then cut up the vocal track into 2 sections in the arrange.
I want to use the transpose envelope to lower the pitch slowly of a few words.
I draw in the envelope line but it still plays back at the normal pitch.
What gives ...

Chord Memorizer - how to help!
Hi guys, I'm new to Live 8 Suite and I'm loving it!
Previous Logic user here... Logic had this thing called 'Chord Memorizer' where I could assign complicated jazz chords to just one note on my midi keyboard.
I saw Live has a 'Chordizer' and I messed with it, but it doesn't appear to be what I'm ...

Assigning Groove Pool "Amount"
Hey gang,
Been reading up and learning about the Groove Pool...
In the Live 8 manual on page 133 under "Amount" it says "At 100%, the parameters will be applied at their assigned values."
So my question is what happens to my Groove settings when the 'Amount' is set to 0% (default)?

Re: Huge differences in Library size between Live 7 and 8
BUMP.
Where are my clips?
What else could I possibly be missing?
I went from the Live 7 demo for 14 days and then later bought 8 right as it came out.
My library is very small too.
What gives?

Re: Missing template Clips in Live 8?
I have no problem doing it myself. In fact, it's the way I prefer to work.
However, when I am going through the manual and notice that I'm missing something that I've PAID for, I start asking questions.
Not to mention the fact that they are a great tool while driving through the Live manual ...

Re: Huge differences in Library size between Live 7 and 8
This needs to be addressed because I have Live 8 Suite (just got it) and I had a bigger Clip Library with Live Lite.
WTF?

Missing template Clips in Live 8?
I bought Live 8 Suite and I read in the manual that Live comes with 'template' Clips to "get you going".
I located them in the Library but I only see drums.
No bass, no keys, no lead. Only drums.
What gives?

Re: Is Live always recording in 32bit?
that part of the manual is incredibly verbose, for what you're asking...

Audio that is recorded via internal routing will be identical to the source audio, provided
that the recording was made at 32 bits.
