Hope someone can answer a questing about how Grooves work. If I had a groove that I made, that was 4/4 in length and applied that
to a clip that is 5/4, how does Live handle that? Would the Groove "start over" on beat 5 of the the 5/4 clip since it is one beat
longer than the 4/4 groove? And what ...

I would like to see some of the Buttons under preferences get moved next to the play/rec/stop buttons.

I turn on/off the pref "record on scene launch" a bunch. would be nice to assign this to a key to toggle it...

It's been said before but I'll say it again.

Yes please. For all of abletons assignability over audio files, the ability to not assign whatever key strokes i want for editing is rather bizare.
let us customize our own editing keystrokes please!!!!!!

afaik it is not possible. i (along with quite a few other folks on this forum) have requested this many times.

I would like to cut an audio file in the arrange editor into separate smaller clips and then drag these new clips into Sampler. These different clips would then be mapped to individual key ranges. Hello all. I think I read this on the forum somewhere but cannot find the post to confirm. What I would like to know, is in Live 6 if Live is in Rewire Slave mode, can midi notes be sent from the Master app (say pro tools) to trigger Lives' intruments like impulse?

Is there anyway to include time signature changes? I know I can automate tempo. I do a lot of music that changes from 4/4 to 7/8 to 6/8 to 5/4 all in one song. Would be nice to have a the ability in the arrangement view to add in Time Sig Markers.
