Instrument triggering in rewire slave mode

Hello all. I think I read this on the forum somewhere but cannot find the post to confirm. What I would like to know, is in Live 6 if Live is in Rewire Slave mode, can midi notes be sent from the Master app (say pro tools) to trigger Lives' intruments like impulse?

I think this is how Reason works if it is slaved via Rewire. You can send midi notes to trigger its NN-xt sampler etc.

Hopefully one can do this in Live...
