Ableton Forum

I have my ableton program on an external hard drive. It is used on a pc. Do I have to buy a Mac version, or can I convert the one I have from pc to mac?

I have sent mp3 files to a guy who is using logic to record vocals. He can here the music through the speakers , but not through headphones in the booth. Is this possibly an error on my end of things with ableton?

Thank you all for your help. I am rendering to WAV format. My Dell is about 3yrs old:( But I use an external drive to save space.

I changed to 16bit and it works. But isn't 24 or 36bit ideal? I am running ableton 6 on a dell:(

After I render a song to disc and send it via email there is a buzzing noise in the backround. How do I fix this annoying mess?

I am trying to record in real time from my MPC into Ableton. There seems to be a delay in recording. Is there a way I can fix this?

with 24 bit...should I save as wav or aiff file?

I record my beats into Ableton from my MPC2000xl. Is rendering to disc the best way to save a song if I want to send it to others? What are the best parameters to get the best quality?
