What I actually mean is how to get the raw data and convrt it to something musical .No need of text to speech features.
Alva noto uses this method a lot so I am trying to understand his method.

Yeah, these days I tend to record environments like my back yard or a city street and use that material for processing into other sounds. If you get a particularly dynamic recording with some interesting transients involved, the fast-gating technique mentioned above can work ...

no no no !
I mean record quantization but whenever I play 1/4 the program snatches the played rythm to the grid when I play 1/8 it snatches to 1/8 grid , when 1/16 is played snatch to 1/16 grid , then triplets etc...all that in one session without to configure the record quantization in edit->record ...

I v found that too.I m on PC though is there an alternative except dblue glitch,suppatrigga or effectrix?
BTW I m really tryig to recreate these electricity sound effect(in absolute quality) which I don't think that this is about glitching sounds but sound engineering

Quantize needed
I am trying to quantize real played drums with he quantize to :1/4 ,1/8, etc
might there be a way to "auto-quantize" so that when played the program automatically finds the closest quantize grid to the played beat and snap to it?
