Well in a mac you can not do that kind of thing as pci-latency is fixed.

What worries me the most is that ABLETON apparantly is ignoring this stuttering problem because they say it's not reproduce-able. Well the past few weeks it happened so often that I'm sure I can reproduce it when they watch ...

I must add that I'm not recording with the keyboard. I'm only using the keyboard to play some licks LIVE on stage. (by arming the track or turning monitoring to auto). But I guess bugs-wise there is no difference.

I'm seriously considering switching to LOGIC and give up the extra features ...

I have been experiencing this since version 4. It's so annoying and it's making me desperate.

When I play a midi instrument with an external keyboard then sometimes (just sometimes) the playhead jumps ahead a few beats. This also happens sometimes when I press the turn on ...

i know. but the next time, it will be "on" again....

I never use automation but the automation called "Mixer: Speaker on" keeps showing up. It's cluttering the overview...

Is there a way to turn off the automation view permanently?

on OSX: if we'd have the pcmcia-to-expresscard adapter available...there still would be needed a multi-face driver for intel wouldn't there?

It's just a roland sustain pedal I bought a few years ago.
Nothing special.

I use a sustain pedal connected to my SL 25.

I use it to turn a certain effect on and off. The weird thing is that after I turn off the SL and turn it on again Live responds inverse to how it was it up.

So let's say I set it up like this:

Pressing the pedal turns on an effect
Depressing the pedal ...

Soon I am going to gig with 2 laptops in stead of one.
This way I can preload the next song on the other laptop.

Is there a way to use 1 controller decently with 2 laptops??
