Thank you for your reply. But honestly, what kind of nonsense is that?! What is the use of a rewire slave that can't use plug ins?? I am incredulous. Ableton, if you're reading this... come on! This is common sense stuff.

I can get live to open in rewire but I do not have access to any of my AU's or VST's. Even the part of the live prefs where you can choose to enable AU's and VST's is no longer there. Is this very stange or am I very ignorant?

the warp button is located in the window with your recorded clip. Unhighlight it so it appears gray, and live will not stretch it.

I know Ableton said it would be "too much work" and they're not going to do it, but I think mac users should stand up and demand their Altivec! And if that doesn't work, get down on their hands and knees and beg for their Altivec!

That thing with the plain box coming up happened to me with absynth. All I had to do was update absynth to the latest version and the graphics were there
