Cheers slanka, the intro of Avant was the result of the various tracks started but never finished in Ableton - the intro reversed bell sound for example was a patch I had made in sampler within a project but never used. Glad you like it.

Thanks very much som.... we worked really hard on the placement of sounds in seven.... we suffer from a tendency to put allot into every bar of every track so it has taken us a couple of years ( 8O ) to get reasonable at tying it all together.

Just a quick post - we recently finished up our debut EP and have the whole thing available for free download over at our bandcamp.

Its a three track record and we are intensly proud of how they turned out.

i have both, i use the apc to control live, and use the lauchpad to control some custom devices.

i dont like the idea of having to skip between pages to get at controls, but thats just me.

I would say that you are going benefit from either... but as a live performance / DJ cross over tool the launchpad clinches it. The ability to play, record and perform from the launchpad is fantastic - and It will take practise for sure... but what doesn't?

There are two of us and we use one laptop with two launchpads, a BCR2000, Pad Kontrol and nocturn running out four sound sources into a standard two channel mixer.

Mixing between decks A & B gets done on the two physical channels of any mixer - the four sound sources (tracks A & B, beats, samples ...

I found it quite interesting - I can only imagine this kind of thing is going to get better and better with time. HTML 5 really is looking good thus far.
