REwire is wicked. rather REwire2, makes the whole process of creation easier. esp since we should all now have machines that are capable of multiple programs.

we us 2 h4's at work with the students, they are a bloody brilliant. the build quality isnt amazing and i expewct them to break, but the sound quality, the usability, the speed of use are awesome. they connect without fuss to even admin restricted machines and record in mp3.

i also run logic in it and the amount of plugins i can get is obscene, it doesnt twitch either.

You can make money from digital sales. I know people who work on house labels and the top quality releases are notching up 3,000 downloads per track spread across 4 different download sites. It not all doom and gloom but your product has to be top class and your label needs to be putting stuff out ...

iTunes definitely pay out at least 70% of the sale price.

TuneCore (http://www.tunecore.com/) allows you to sell your music on iTunes.

They charge you a fixed fee based on the number of tracks, albums, stores its listed on and so on then they give you all the money they get from sales - $0.70USD ...

320kbs mp3 is very very hard to discriminate from wav format, and on a mono sound system which isnt built for HiFi ...

I licensed my copy of ableton 1 years ago and then upgraded to live 4 and then 5, ordered 6 with my discount yesterday via paypal and paid for it.

I have a copy of live 1 for sale on ebay (seperate from my old v1)
