Ableton / DMXIS help

I manage a band (based in New York) who have been using ableton to control Enttec's DMXIS, triggering lighting cues via midi sent from an MPC (which is in turn triggered by drum triggers, footswitches and actual hands on playing the pads). we've encountered various issues w/ program changes flipping...

I have the download of live 7, electric, tension, sampler, drum machines et al... so I can use live 7 fine and dandy but I could really do with having the eic2 and session drums alp's before I go to new york for 3 1/2 weeks holiday. I was planning to really get to grips with that stuff during this t...

I upgraded to ableton suite boxed and still no box

I upgraded to live 7 the moment it was announced and still don't have the box with the eic2 and session drums dvds I ordered.
I have the serial numbers and I'm going on holiday on thursday. does anyone in glasgow have the dvds so I can do an instal on my computer and use this stuff while I'm away?

or... the ability to expand a track and see spectrum in the same way you can see the mixer, i/o etc... might be more useful that way as a cross reference. especially when trying to discern what track is causing a frequency peak at the master. I'd prefer to see it integrated into the mixer controls r...

if you're warping a sample of a full track and want to avoid ugly audio warping you HAVE to use complex mode. you'll get a varying degree of ugliness on all other settings, especially beats. I experimented with this feature for the first time this morning. as stated above you can zoom in on the samp...

decoding cache folder

after a few years using ableton for programming & composition I've just started djing with it. my question is this. whenever I load an mp3 into my set it creates a .wav file (which is wierd in itself since I'm on a mac I'd assume it'd be a .aiff but whatever...) in ableton/live recordings/decoding c...

the developer was in glasgow and I tried one today. it definitely has midi out and in. it was a pretty great little toy and I think if it had the money I'd buy one as I had some pretty nice beats going within a couple of minutes.

for changing the order of your sets put locators at the start of every song in one large live set and route these to your midicontroller. you should be able to jump back and forth between songs on the fly.

you figure it out then? when you drag a file in they default bpm for the clip is 120 bpm. so when you have the global bpm set at 120 it plays fine. if you look at the clip though the warp markers won't be on the beat. so... go into the clip adjust the warp markers so their on the the beat. look at t...

I've got a quattro which is usb (I know I know I need to upgrade) but I still have weird problems most times. I've not had any problems when using the onboard soundcards with any version of live 5 so I can only imagine it's an m audio problem.

buying a new soundcard

I think I've finally given up and accepted that all the problems I've been having with live 5 are down to my soundcard (ie it's totally fine when i use the onboard sound) so I'm thinking of buying a new one. needs to be at least 4 ins and outs. anyone got any suggestions?

I've been having weird problems with my m audio soundcard throughout every version of live 5. I'm considering breaking it in two and buying a new one. any recommendations?
