yeah, that works for any new projects, but I'm opening songs that were done in Live 4 and that damn keyboard thing is highlighted everytime. I guess if I make changes to each song and then turn it off and save it that way it might work. I will try that.

Every time I open a new live set, the 'Computer Midi keyboard" icon is highlighted in the upper right corner. I need to do a command/shift K to turn it off so I can then launch clips from my computer keyboard. Isn't there a way to turn that thing off for good??!

I thought it was possible to slave Live to Garageband under rewire, which it is, but I thought I could use Live to record midi to my external midi keyoards while slaved to Garageband. This doesn't seem to be the case. Anyone tried to do something like this? Midi outs are that are there when Live is ...
