Why in some stock devices knobs are correctly displayed on push, but when i just duplicate the knob in a patch or add another one, it wont appear in push screen, and not available for automation.
Also most of the max devices do not allow to automate knobs. Can somebody help with a topic?

Thanks, but probably i expressed it in a wrong way. It is mapable controller with f.e 5 fields with values, and one button. Controller maps to volume slider of a track and changes its values in sequence according to data in fields. Sorry but my skills in programming on max are zero.. and more ...

How can i achieve that? I need volume slider jump in cycle through several values on a press of a button.

i found that it works perfectly with APC40 mkII. If not mapped, first device control knob act like that.

I`d like to have a knob on any controller wich will act like universal. meaning it will control last touched control. Possible?

May be someone can recall great sample based vsti Miroslav Philharmonic. There one can find a feature where knob is responsible for number of harmonics in a sound. It sound like a strange kind of filter but very beautifull. i used to use it for one of my main lead tones. I want to recreate this ...

I experience cpu spikes and crackling using drum rack. It recieves midi flow generated by step sequencer. It produce random clicks and cpu spikes. I reduced voicing but still have it.
