I experience cpu spikes and crackling using drum rack. It recieves midi flow generated by step sequencer. It produce random clicks and cpu spikes. I reduced voicing but still have it.
I figured out that it is series of notes fed into a kick drum sample causes clicks. I trimed the sample but cannot figure out waht i wrong... Sudden spikes...Any ideas how drum rack can consume more CPU than u-he Diva?
I made an experiment and reaplced drum rack with Rob Rapen Punch - which is soficticated machine = ~10% less cpu with the same plugin chain.
Drum rack consumes much more... there is something that can be improved, obviously...
I gues it has deal with multicore support...
