Re: Master Volume - just not loud enough after export.
I do use normalize, which does not seem to make much difference. My master is not peaking much, I try to limit that of course.Tarekith wrote:Have you tried using the normalize option when you export the audio file? What level is your master meter peaking at before you export?
Any ideas?

Master Volume - just not loud enough after export.
I am using live 7.
My issue is even with the master as high as it can go, without compromising the quitely of the track, is still quite low compared to other Wav. files when I export it.
Is their a way to correct this issue? As not only do I find it annoying to crank a track up when I am listening ...

Re: Peaks in Tracks Producing Crackling.
sounds like you might want to recompute your Latency settings (Preferences->Audio->Latency). At least I had to change the default values to reduce crackling artifacts I had with my Motu Ultralite. There´s a tutorial for helping you configure it included in Live; hope that helps! :)

Reversing Tracks.
By reversing tracks I mean, reversing the sound. Incase I am leaving room for misunderstanding, I will use an example.
I have just recorded a gutiar take which I want to reverse, meaning play backwards, is this possible?

Re: i just got picked up as a producer, help with studio!!!
I have been working very well with this set up recently:
Focusrite Pro40
Presonus D8
Ableton Live 7
Reason
Mac or Pc works, but if it is possible of course go down the route of a Mac.
I record bands in my own studio and I tend to keep things as accoustic as possible, that set up does well even ...

Peaks in Tracks Producing Crackling.
I have had a recent problem in Ableton that I did not have before. I have changed my hardware from a sapphire pro10 to a pro40 with a personus D8.
Since this change whenever a track peaks, including the master volume, I get a crackel and its quite exaggerated. Is their anyway I can stop Ableton ...
