Master Volume - just not loud enough after export.

Post by Dretlin » Fri Jul 10, 2009 9:05 pm

I am using live 7.

My issue is even with the master as high as it can go, without compromising the quitely of the track, is still quite low compared to other Wav. files when I export it.

Is their a way to correct this issue? As not only do I find it annoying to crank a track up when I am listening to it on a different device, people who listen to my music also find it annoying. Which is disconcerting! It is not a desirable first impression.

Have you tried using the normalize option when you export the audio file? What level is your master meter peaking at before you export?

I do use normalize, which does not seem to make much difference. My master is not peaking much, I try to limit that of course.

Any ideas?

Maybe you should try to limit that. Your master that is.
