Its been a few years since I used Ableton and have just upgrded to 8.2.1

I am trying to use my AAC collection @ 256Kb as my record box of tracks so I don't have to re rip or download any tunes

The tracks sound fine when played through iTunes but sound really jumpy / juddery when just played ...
