If you using live in a conventional sense and not really pushing the envelope.

i had live crash on me like crazy not using any plugins
from the outside world.. Let alone the fact with some good UAD plugs

Judging from the original post we can see in this post
from the dates and time - it was created about 12 hours or so
before Ableton released Live 5 officially.... which is
what none of us felt was ready now that this time has come to past.... In any event
i guess what?? should we tally up the bugs ...

the use of the pads the both do this easy and well

but the with the mpc1000 you will need to use midi cables with a midi interface.

the sp606 carries everything over the one usb cable ausio and midi.

the mpc is the best in terms of a hardware base sequencer creating and what not.. but the sp606 is better because it has some good quality effects that blows the mpc 1000 away other than the fact that you can record for 3 ...
